Michelle Stanger is a playful spirit who enjoys laughing and making the best out of every situation. Her teaching principle is to serve her students by sharing her knowledge, resources and journey with them to aid in their growth on and off the mat. Being described as “compassionate,” “caring,” “devoted,” and “honest,” you will find her classes to be filled with the same characteristics. Michelle enjoys the many different styles of yoga and continues to study those traditions while on her path of self-study. She enjoys bringing this journey into her classes.
Michelle has attended many workshops and strives to always remain a student first. She has been inspired and will forever be grateful to Alexis Martin, Briohny Smyth, Dice Iida Klein, Tiffany Cruikshank, Krishna Das, BKS Iyengar and her students.
Michelle is a RYT 200 Yoga Instructor, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, married and the mother of two inspiring souls and one furry one. She also serves as Editor of YogiApproved.com where you can also view her articles, tutorials and videos. She enjoys the lessons learned from her family while balancing life as a practicing yogini.
